terms of use โ keep it fun, keep it safe
OopsLog is a place where lab people share their mistakes anonymously, laugh about it, and feel less alone. That's the whole point. Here's how we keep it that way.
Sharing real lab mistakes โ the funny ones, the painful ones, the ones you'll remember at 3am. This is a safe space for scientific self-deprecation.
1. Have fun. That's the whole point.
2. No spam, no ads, no promo. Nobody wants your crypto link.
3. No insults, no hate, no harassment. Roast your own mistake, not other people.
4. No personal info. Don't name real people, labs, or institutions.
5. Keep it anonymous. That's what makes it work.
Any user can report a post using the โ button. Posts that receive multiple reports are automatically hidden. We don't have a moderation team โ the community self-regulates.
OopsLog is provided as-is, for fun. We reserve the right to remove any content at any time. By posting, you grant OopsLog a non-exclusive license to display your confession publicly. You keep ownership of your mistake (congratulations).
We may update these terms. If something changes significantly, we'll note it here.
