Posting

Share your own lab mishaps and keep them anonymous. Leave out names, institutions and other identifying details. Keep spam, ads and promotional links out of the feed.

We block prohibited language, threats, harassment, attempts to expose personal information, explicit content, links and repeated spam.

Moderation

Anyone can report a post. Multiple reports can hide it automatically. OopsLog may remove content at any time.

Your data

Public posts do not show your name. A random device ID remembers your reactions. We use IP addresses for rate limiting.

If you sign up for the weekly recap, we store your email to send it. Each recap includes an unsubscribe link.

Use of posts

You retain ownership of your post and grant OopsLog a non-exclusive license to display it publicly. OopsLog is provided as is. Significant changes to these terms will appear here.
