🧪 What OopsLog is for

Sharing real lab mistakes — the funny ones, the painful ones, the ones you'll remember at 3am. This is a safe space for scientific self-deprecation.

✅ The rules (short version)

1. Have fun. That's the whole point.

2. No spam, no ads, no promo. Nobody wants your crypto link.

3. No insults, no hate, no harassment. Roast your own mistake, not other people.

4. No personal info. Don't name real people, labs, or institutions.

5. Keep it anonymous. That's what makes it work.

🚫 What gets you auto-blocked

Slurs, hate speech, or discriminatory language
Links, URLs, or promotional content
Spam, repeated messages, or flood
Threats, harassment, or doxxing attempts
NSFW or sexually explicit content

⚑ Community moderation

Any user can report a post using the ⚑ button. Posts that receive multiple reports are automatically hidden. We don't have a moderation team — the community self-regulates.

🔒 Your data

We don't collect your name, email, or any personal info.
A random device ID is generated locally to track your reactions — it never identifies you.
Posts are anonymous. We don't store IP addresses in the database.
We use rate limiting to prevent abuse — that's it.

💀 The fine print

OopsLog is provided as-is, for fun. We reserve the right to remove any content at any time. By posting, you grant OopsLog a non-exclusive license to display your confession publicly. You keep ownership of your mistake (congratulations).
